April 22, 2026 - SupportiveLiving.ca is entering a new era in supportive housing in Ontario.
After 20 years of dedicated leadership, our CEO, Vishal Chityal, has made the decision to step down. This marks a significant milestone in the evolution of SupportiveLiving.ca — an organization that began as Niagara Supportive Living and has grown into a trusted provider of stable housing solutions for vulnerable populations across Ontario.
What started as a response to an urgent need for affordable and supportive housing has become a mission-driven organization focused on providing safe, stable living environments for individuals who cannot live independently.
20 Years of Leadership in Supportive Housing
Over the past two decades, SupportiveLiving.ca has worked alongside community partners, social service agencies, and families to deliver accessible housing solutions. Our focus has always been on housing stability, dignity, and accessibility for those facing housing insecurity.
Reflecting on his journey, Mr. Chityal shared:
